These FAQs will help you get started using Operator Assisted with Slide Assist service:

What is Slide Assist?
Slide Assist combines Operator Assisted audio with a web-based tool that allows up to 1,000 participants to view a presentation from their web browser and submit questions via online chat. Slide Assist does not require its moderator, speakers/presenters, or participants to download any software.  
What is a Guest Presenter?
 In the Slide Assist platform, the conference moderator and speakers/presenters are considered Guest Presenters. The conference Operator is considered the Host.
What feature access does a Guest Presenter have?
Guest Presenters can:
  • Upload a presentation before the event
  • Upload a speaker/presenter headshot
  • Control the presentation, including advancing slides 
  • Privately chat with other speakers/presenters
  • Facilitate web Q & A
  • Access recordings and post-conference reports
Can I upload my presentation before the event?
 Yes.  After scheduling your conference, you will receive a confirmation email containing the Slide Assist Guest Presenter link. This link allows you to log in and upload the presentation at any time.
What is the maximum file size for presentations?
500 MB.
How do I schedule an Operator Assisted conference with Slide Assist?
To reserve an Operator Assisted with Slide Assist conference, please call the reservations number provided to your company, or, our general reservations line at 866-467-8167.
What is the maximum Slide Assist event duration?
8 hours.
What information will I need to provide when I schedule?
When calling to schedule an Operator Assisted conference with Slide Assist, please have the following information ready:
  • Your name
  • Your company name
  • The date, time, and duration of your conference 
  • Estimated number of participants
  • Additional conference features, such as a recording or Q&A (phone and web are supported)
As a presenter, when can I join my Operator Assisted conference with Slide Assist?
Slide Assist events include a 30-minute pre-conference.  Following your direction, the operator will take the conference live and begin broadcasting the event.
