3. How do I schedule a conference?

Outlook Toolbar

Once the Outlook toolbar is installed, you can schedule, join or start your audio-only conferences.

Note:  You will be asked to authenticate your account the first time your toolbar is downloaded.  Your client ID and web password can be found on your confirmation email.

  To schedule a meeting:

  1. Click Schedule Meeting.
  2. Select Meet Later.
  3. Select Phone Only

Next:

  1. Type guest names or email addresses, enter the subject and select the date and time.
  2. Optional: Enter additional text for your participants in the text box in the body of the email.
  3. Click Send.

 

Desktop App (MAC, Lotus Notes, and non-Outlook users)

Once you download the GlobalMeet for Desktop App, you can schedule, join or start your meetings with a simple click.

Note:  You will be asked to authenticate your account the first time your Desktop App is downloaded.  Your client ID and web password can be found on your confirmation email.

  To schedule a meeting:

    1. Click the icon in your system tray.
    2. Click Schedule Meeting.
    3. Select Scheduler.
    4. Select the date and time of your meeting.
    5. Enter your guests’ email addresses, and enter a meeting title.
    6. Set the meeting duration.
    7. Click CREATE INVITE.

 

Note: If you are an Outlook user, clicking Scheduler from the Desktop App will redirect you to Outlook and allow you to schedule from the toolbar.
