How do I prompt participants to enter a PIN code when they enter my audio conference?

The ‘ASK GUESTS FOR PIN NUMBER’ option allows hosts to track additional information about meeting participants.  This information is included in the meeting reports available online and sent by email.

To access this option, navigate to Meeting Settings via the Administrative Portal, GlobalMeet for Desktop, or GlobalMeet Toolbar for Outlook.  For information about accessing Meeting Settings, see this
FAQ.

Click ‘Audio Settings’
Toggle ‘ASK GUESTS FOR PIN NUMBER’ to ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’.

*Note:  the PIN is informational only.  The audio conference ensures each participant enters a PIN, but does not validate the PIN.  When using this option, you should tell your guests prior to the meeting what to expect. For example, a host might want guests to enter their employee numbers or the last 4 digits of their phone numbers.
