How to Change the Default Meeting URL

GlobalMeet uses your default meeting when:

  • You start a meeting from the GlobalMeet Toolbar/Add-in or the GlobalMeet Desktop App.  
  • You schedule a meeting from the GlobalMeet Toolbar/Add-in or the GlobalMeet Desktop App.  The web address and dial-in information for this default meeting will display in the meeting invitation.

If you have more than one web meeting or audio conference account, you shold select your default meeting.

  • To select your default meeting, click 'Settings' on the toolbar, then click the 'Meeting Setup' tab.
  • In the Web meeting list, select the meeting to use as the default:

To select your default meeting, on the toolbar, click Settings to open the Settings pane.

In the Meeting Defaults section, select the audio conference, primary access number to include in meeting invitations, and your preferred web meeting. The default meeting you set here is automatically selected in the Start Meeting pane, and the web address and dial-in information are listed in new meeting invitations.

Changes are saved automatically.
