Guests can enter a meeting anonymously or they can register with GlobalMeet® Web. By registering as a GlobalMeet user, you can create a profile that allows you to manage multiple phone numbers you can use to have the meeting call you. You can also take advantage of our Auto-Connect feature to join the audio portion of meetings you attend using softphone.
Open a web browser and enter the meeting URL in the address bar (or click on the link found in the email invitation/Outlook calendar invite). From this Welcome page, follow the steps below to become a registered user and sign in to the meeting:
Enter your first name, last name and email address in the fields provided and click 'Join meeting'.
If GlobalMeet finds an existing account for your email address, you'll be prompted to enter your password and click 'Sign in' to go to the meeting.
Otherwise, create a password and then click 'Register'.
Set your auto connect preference. If turned on, GlobalMeet will automatically connect you to the audio for the meeting as well as future meetings you join using softphone.
Note: Be sure to record the password so you can remember it when joining future meetings. After becoming a registered user, you will join future meetings using your email address and password.
If you would like to join a meeting without registering, you can join as an anonymous guest by selecting 'Continue as a Guest' under the 'Register' button without entering a password.
