Connect to the Audio for Your Meeting Using Call My Computer

Your GlobalMeet® Web meeting can call your computer and connect you to the audio portion of your meeting via your Internet connection. In order to establish a connection to your computer, you will need to have a microphone and speakers or a headset.NoteWhether or not this feature is available to you depends on your company settings.

To connect your audio over your computer:

  1. On the Connect Audio dialog box, click Call My Computer.
  2. Click Set Your Audio Preferences to select which microphone you would like to use, and then click OK.
  3. Click Connect Me.

Once connected, you can speak and listen through your computer's mic and speakers. GlobalMeet will remember your audio preferences each time you connect to a meeting via computer audio.

Note: Registered users can modify their profile settings to have GlobalMeet Web always use their Internet connection for audio by clicking on the arrow next to their name in the Participants panel while in a meeting to access My Info and turning Auto Connect On.
