Why can’t my guests see what I’m sharing?

If your guests cannot see what you're sharing: 

  • You may not be sharing the same application you selected from your Screen Share list.  If you aren’t sharing the application you selected from the list, your guests will see a grey screen.
  • You may have an application or window moved on top of the actively shared window. If so, your guests will see a grey screen.
  • You may not be sharing the correct monitor. This could easily happen if you are using multiple monitors. 

Note: Remember that you can always choose to share your monitor if you are going between multiple applications.  Just be sure you turn off all email and IM applications to avoid sharing emails or IM conversations with your audience.
