Start a meeting
To host a meeting, start your meeting from the desktop app, the Outlook add-in, or access a supported web browser and enter your meeting URL. The latest version of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 11 are supported; you cannot attend or host a meeting in another browser.
The desktop app lets you start and join meetings more quickly. Because you are signed in to the app, you do not have to enter your credentials again.

Use the desktop app
The desktop app provides two different options to start a meeting: the Home tab (if you connected your Outlook Calendar) and the Meetings tab.
Use the Home tab
Open the desktop app and click the Home tab, if needed.
Click Join on a meeting you created to launch your meeting room and automatically sign in.
The next step is to choose how you want to talk in the meeting by connecting your audio.
Use the Meetings tab
Open the desktop app and click the Meetings tab. Under My meeting info, click Start my meeting. Your meeting room opens and you are automatically signed in as the host.

Use the Outlook add-in
On the Home tab in Outlook, click Start My Meeting to open the task pane. In OWA, click and then Start My Meeting.
Choose to start a web meeting or an audio-only meeting, and then click Start.
Your room (web) or the Phone Controls (audio only) opens and you are automatically signed in as the host.

Use a web browser
Open Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer 11 and enter your meeting URL in the address bar. (Your meeting URL is in your welcome email.)
On the Welcome page, enter your email address and then click Continue.
When prompted, enter your password and then click Sign in.
The next step is to choose how you want to talk in the meeting by connecting your audio.
Use a mobile app
On the Home tab, tap Join on an upcoming meeting hosted by you. Or, on the Meetings tab, tap your meeting room link.
The app signs you in to the meeting and asks how you want to connect your audio.
