Add-on for passcode entry conferences; requires a quote.
Participant PIN options offer an additional layer of security for passcode entry conferences. The Participant PIN Validate feature requires participants to enter a valid PIN to join the conference. If the participant enters an invalid PIN three (3) times, they then reach an operator. Post-conference reports include a list of PIN numbers tied to each attendee.
This option is available when booking a new event. You cannot add it later in the Events Portal.
On the Audio Event Details page, under Enhanced Services, select Participant List, select PIN, and then select Participant PIN Validate.
Next, select what you would like to do when a participant reaches an operator:
- Verify via Communication Line - Verify participants who do not enter a PIN or have an incorrect PIN with the Communication Line contact; a pre-determined individual from your company connected to a private sub-conference. You must select Communications Line while booking.
- Turn participant away - Turn away participants who do not enter a PIN or have an incorrect PIN, and refer them to the contact provided for more information.
- Allow participant to join, but capture required information - Allow participants to join without PIN verification if they can provide the conference-specific information. Operators collect the required participant fields manually and place them into the conference.
After booking your conference, upload your PIN list in the Events Portal.
