Blind transfer

You can transfer a call internally (to another person in your company) or externally. A blind transfer, also referred to as a cold transfer, is a quick method of transferring a phone call where you do not speak to the person you are transferring to before making the transfer. The caller is placed on hold while the call rings the other person's phone number.

Use a blind transfer if you don't have additional information to share and just want to route the call.
