Start a meeting (hosts)

To start a scheduled meeting:

  • Open your meeting invitation.
  • Click Join Skype for Business Meeting. Your Skype for Business application opens and the Join Meeting Audio window displays.
  • Connect your audio.

    Note: It is not recommended that a host join using the dial-in number and passcode to ensure the audio is fully integrated with Skype for Business.

To start a meeting now:

  • Open Skype for Business. If the menu bar is not showing, click on the gear icon and select Show Menu Bar.
  • In the menu bar, click Meet Now. The Join Meeting Audio window displays.
  • Connect your audio.
  • In the Conversation window, click on Invite More People to invite contacts to your conference. Hold the Ctrl key to select multiple contacts.
