Update the GlobalMeet Outlook add-in

Due to Outlook caching, sometimes updates to the GlobalMeet Outlook add-in are not automatically upgraded when a new version is released. To load these updates - for example, new buttons, menu labels, or languages - you must uninstall the earlier version of the GlobalMeet Outlook add-in and then install the newest release.

Before you begin, copy the latest add-in URL to the clipboard.

To uninstall and re-install the add-in:

  1. In your version of Outlook, access the add-ins feature:
    • Windows and Mac - On the Home ribbon, click Get Add-ins.

    • Outlook on the web - While reading a message, click (...More actions and then scroll down and click Get Add-ins. Or create a new event in your calendar, and at the top (...More actions and then click Get Add-ins.
