iOS updates

Release 5.36

  • Meeting Recordings. You can now access meeting recordings from the app. Under MY MEETING ROOM, tap More () > Recorded meetings to view your meeting recordings. Tap a recording to launch your browser to watch, download, or copy the URL.
  • Outlook Calendar. A loading screen now displays while the app retrieves updated information from your calendar.  Some users reported that the app appeared to be broken while it was processing in the background.
  • You can now join meetings hosted on other meeting services - like Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Webex - from your Outlook Calendar. On your agenda, tap the blue link for the meeting. The app launches the browser, the installed meeting app, or opens the App Store to download the necessary app, if needed.

Meeting room updates

Release 5.34

  • Join a meeting. Clicking a meeting URL opens your system’s default browser. You are then prompted to choose how you’d like to join: by continuing in the browser or by opening the desktop app. If you don't have the desktop app installed, you can download it before entering the room. You can also save your preference. View example »
  • End or exit meeting. When you leave a meeting that you attended in a browser, a download banner displays so you can download the desktop app.
  • File presentation:
    • My Files now shows icons that identify the type of file. Files you uploaded before this release will display a generic icon. View larger example »

    • If an error occurs while an uploaded file is being prepared for display, an error message is displayed and you can try again. Previously, the file would appear in My Files even though it did not process correctly and could not be presented.
  • Screen share. The share app window option has been removed in Internet Explorer 11. IE11 users continue to be able to share an entire monitor instead.
  • When viewing screen share or a file presentation, point to the meeting stage and click+drag to pan the shared content. The cursor changes to indicate you are moving the content.

  • Bug fix. When presenting files, keyboard shortcuts are not working for Internet Explorer 11 users.
  • Bug fix. When presenting PowerPoint files with Notes, when the presenter clicks the Notes panel, the presented file flickers.
