Meeting room updates

Release 6.12

  • Browser guests. If you join the meeting as a guest, you are now signed out when you leave by closing the meeting browser tab or window. Previously, the meeting room bypassed the sign-in step and used the email address and name you entered before.
  • Internet Explorer 11. A new version of the GlobalMeet Audio & Video plug-in is available. When you host or attend a meeting in IE, you are prompted to install or update it (if you previously installed). This plug-in enables VoIP audio, webcam, and screen sharing in IE.
  • Connect audio > Use my computer. If you opt to use your internal mic and/or speakers, a message advises that this setup might create an echo. A headset is recommended.
  • Bug fix. File presentation on Windows 7 and IE, the page numbers do not align correctly with the navigation controls.
