Meeting Support

What key things should I know as an iMeet host?

  • Populate your cube with a photo, information and bio so others can get to know you.
  • Encourage your participants to use the ‘Call Me’ button by inserting a message into the body section of your invite/email.
  • Practice scheduling and using the iMeet features such as screen sharing, before your first meeting.
  • Be aware of your local bandwidth connection via the bandwidth panel in your iMeet room.
  • Arrive in your meeting 15 minutes prior to set up, prepare and to upload any files you’ll need.
  • If you are going to allow another user to share their screen during the meeting, have them join 15 minutes prior, give them screenshare rights and have them click Share Screen so they can have the add-in uploaded.
  • When hosting it is not recommended to use VoIP (computer) to join the audio as quality is dependent upon your connection.
